You don’t need to be an Audible member to gift an audiobook. If you’re a member, you can gift an audiobook using one of your credits—or save them for yourself and purchase the title with cash

Note: The following Audible credits can't be used to purchase gifts:

• credits from a book return
• “bonus" or promotional credits received through various offers
• credits received as part of a gift membership

How do I purchase an audiobook as a gift?

1. Go to the title’s detail page on the Audible website.
2. You can choose from different purchase options:
   • Buy now with a credit or for $X.XX.
   • Add to cart.
   • More options.
3. Select More options.
4. Select Give as a gift.
5. Next, choose how you want to send your gift:
   • Email
   • Print
6. Fill in the blank spaces provided.
7. Review the information you added and select Continue.
8. Select how you want to pay for your gift.
   Note: Vouchers can’t be applied toward gift purchases.
9. Select Confirm Purchase.

Once you've purchased your gift, you'll receive an email letting you know your purchase was successful. If you chose a printable card, instructions will follow on how to print and fold your card.

Note: You can't gift your previously purchased audiobooks for free.
