Your Library is the place to go when you’d like to listen to any audiobook you’ve added or purchased or when you want to catch up on a podcast you choose to follow. From here, you can easily keep track of which titles you’ve started and have yet to hear. You can also view and manage your Wish List and Lists from your desktop and in-app Library.

How can I access my Library?

In the app

1. Open the Audible app and sign in.
2. Select Library in the bottom navigation.

On mobile web

1. Go to the Audible site and sign in.
2. Select the Main Menu.
3. Select Library.

On desktop

1. Go to the Audible site and sign in.
2. Select Library in the site navigation, then My Books.

How can I use my Library?

In the app

There are several ways you can view and sort titles in your in-app Library. At the very top of the screen, you’ll find your main sections—Audiobooks, Podcasts, Wish List, Lists, Authors, Series, and Genres.

Simply swipe left on the screen to view them all.

On desktop

There are several ways you can view and sort titles in your Library on desktop and mobile web.
At the very top of the page, you’ll find your main sections—Audiobooks, Podcasts, Wish List, Lists, and Authors.

Your web Library also features filters, which allow you see all of your titles at once or only those that are Finished and Unfinished.

Your in-app Library also features filters, which allow you see all of your titles at once or only those that are Not started, In progress, Downloaded, and Finished.

How do I add audiobooks to my Library?

Titles you purchase with a credit or cash will automatically show up in your Library, and you can easily add included titles via the site or app.

In the app

1. Open the Audible app and sign in.
2. Select Discover.
3. Select Plus Catalogue.
4. Search for the title you’re interesting in adding.
5. Select the title to go to its detail page.
6. Select Add to Library.

On desktop

1. Go to the Audible site and sign in.
2. Search for a title you want to add to your Library. For inspiration, explore the home page, which features handpicked titles for you.
3. Select the title to go to its detail page.
4. Select Add to Library.

How do I remove audiobooks from my Library?

You can only remove titles from the app.

Remove a specific title

1. Go to your Library.
2. Find the title you’d like to remove from your device.
3. Select the 3-dot menu.
4. Select Remove from Device.

Remove multiple titles

1. Go to your Library.
2. Choose Select.
3. Pick the title(s) you’d like to remove by selecting the box(es).
4. Select Remove from Device.

Note: Removing titles from your device doesn’t permanently delete them. The titles you purchase with a credit or cash are yours to keep. 

How can I remove podcasts from my Library?

To remove a subscription from your Library, follow these steps:

1. Open the Audible app.
2. Tap Library.
3. Tap Podcasts.
4. Tap and hold the podcast you want to remove.
5. On the menu that pops up, tap on Hide this title.
6. The podcast has been removed and will no longer show in your Library.

You can also remove podcasts by following these steps in the app:

1. Tap Library.
2. Tap Lists.
3. Tap and hold the podcast you want to remove.
4. Tap Remove from list.
5. The podcast has been removed an will no longer show in your Lists.

How do I automatically remove finished audiobooks?

To automatically remove an audiobook from your device after finished, follow these steps:

1. Open the Audible app.
2. Tap Profile.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Data & Storage
5. Toggle on Auto-Remove
6. After you finish your audiobook it will be auto-removed from your device.

How do I archive titles from my Library?

You can only archive titles from the Audible app.

Archive a specific title

1. Go to your Library.
2. Find the title you’d like to remove from your device.
3. Select the 3-dot menu.
4. Select Hide this title.

Archive multiple titles

1. Go to your Library.
2. Choose Select.
3. Pick the title(s) you’d like to remove by selecting the box(es).
4. Select Hide this title.

Note: Archiving titles from your device doesn’t permanently delete them. The titles you purchase with a credit or cash are yours to keep. 

How do I delete audiobooks from my Library?

You can only permanently delete audiobooks through the Amazon website or by contacting Customer Support.

1. Go to Manage your content and devices on Amazon.
2. Filter by Content.
3. Choose the audiobook you want to delete and select Delete.
4. Confirm that you want to Yes, delete permanently.

Note: Once you permanently delete titles from your account, you won’t be able to access them again in your Library or on any device. 

How do I refresh my app Library?

To ensure that your app Library refreshes, you must have the latest version of the app installed on your device. To ensure you do please follow these steps:

Update the Android app

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Select your profile icon.
3. Select Manage apps & device.
4. Find the Audible app in the Updates pending list.
5. Select Update.

Once the Audible app is up to date, refresh the library by:

1. Select Library on your Audible app.
2. Drag down the screen from the top until you see a load symbol.

Note: If you’re using an older device that doesn’t support the latest version of the app, you can continue to listen to all of your audiobooks on another compatible device or in the Audible Cloud Player.
