How can I manage my push notifications?

You can manage your push notification preferences in the Audible app.

1. Go to your Profile.
2. Select the Settings gear icon.
3. Select Push notifications within the Notifications section.
4. Turn on the notifications you want to receive:
   • Account and membership
   • News and announcements
   • Relevant new releases

How can I interact with enhanced push notifications?

At times, Audible may send push notifications which include additional media, such as images, audio, or video. By default, a user will only see the main text included with a notification when viewed on their lock screen or in the notification center. In order to view the full content of the notification, please follow the steps below depending on the device you are using.

iOS - iPad and iPhone

1. Locate the notification on your lock screen or in the notification center.
2. Press and hold anywhere on the notification for it to expand. 
3. For notifications with Video or Audio, press the play button and ensure your volume is on.
4. Tap anywhere on the notification to go to the destination within the app

Android

1. Locate the notification on your lock screen or in notification center.
2. Select the caret (downward-facing arrow) at the top right of the message.
3. This will expand the notification to expose the image and any additional text.
4. Tap anywhere on the notification to go to the destination within the app.
   • Some notifications may include button options that will take you to different locations.

How can I manage my e-mail notifications?

You can manage your e-mail notification preferences from either the desktop site or the Audible app.

In the app

1. Go to your Profile.
2. Select the Settings gear icon.
3. Select Email notifications within the Notifications section.
4. Check off the type of newsletters, e-mails, and announcements you’d like to receive—or come here to unsubscribe.

On desktop

1. Go to the Audible site and sign in.
2. Select your username from the site’s top navigation.
3. Select My Account.
4. Select Notifications.
5. Check off the type of newsletters, e-mails, and announcements you’d like to receive—or come here to unsubscribe.

On mobile web

1. Go to the Audible site and sign in.
2. Select the main menu.
3. Select your name.
4. Select Notifications within the Your Account section.
5. Check off the type of newsletters, e-mails, and announcements you’d like to receive—or come here to unsubscribe.
