Audible credits are a recurring benefit of selected membership plans. The amount and recurrence in which you receive credits varies per plan, and credits can be used to purchase any title marked with a "1 credit" badge. This includes popular audiobooks, such as those on the New York Times or Amazon bestseller lists, as well as recent releases.

Note: You can get Audible credits only by being an Audible Premium Plus members.

How can I use my credits?

You can use your credits to buy audiobooks on the Audible desktop site and in the app. To learn how to buy with credits, visit Buy an audiobook.

Note: Audible credits cannot be gifted, but they can be used to buy audiobooks as gifts.

How many credits can I roll over under my plan?

Audible allows to roll over a certain amount of unused credits into the following term of the plan. If at the moment of your next billing date, your plan is at the membership credit limit, any unused credits in excess of the limit will expire.

Example: Customer A is on a Premium Plus plan with 6 credits. On their next membership renewal date, they will lose one credit because they have exceeded the membership credit limit of 6 credits for that particular plan. Customer A will also receive one new credit when their membership renews that month - leaving them with a total of 6 credits.

Are there credit rollover limits?

Unused credits will roll over month-to-month as long as you’re an active member, but how many credits you can roll over depends on your membership type.

Where can I see my credits?

On desktop

Once signed in to your account, you will see your available credits next to your name from the site’s top navigation bar.

In the iOS app

1. Go to your Profile.
2. Select the Settings gear icon.
3. Go to Membership.
4. Select Details.

In the Android app

1. Go to your Profile.
2. Select View account.

Notes:

• Please note, if you cancel your membership, you will lose your remaining credits.
• Credits that you have received directly in the Apple App Store app or in the Google Play app remain active after you cancel your subscription.

Can I buy more credits?

Only active Audible members are able to buy credits and the pricing depends on the active membership. We offer different buying options from bundles to single credits directly from the app. Keep in mind that you can buy extra credits if:

• Your membership includes credits.
• You have no credits left.
• You have been an Audible member and have been on the same membership for at least 30 days.

Note: Extra credits purchased through the App Store or Google Play apps don’t expire.

Follow these steps to learn how to buy more credits depending on the platform you are using:

On the iOS App

1. Go to your Profile.
2. Select the Settings gear icon.
3. Go to Membership.
4. Select Details.
5. If you are eligible to purchase extra credits you will see a banner on top of the screen with the option to purchase additional credits.
6. Choose between 1 extra credit, 3 extra credits, or 5 credits.
7. Confirm your purchase with Double-click on the Side Button.

Note: Extra credits purchased in the iOS App will be charged via the App Store.

On the Android App

1. Go to your Profile.
2. Select the Settings gear icon.
3. Go to Membership.
4. Select Details.
5. If you are eligible to purchase extra credits you will see a banner on top of the screen with the option to purchase additional credits.
6. Select Get more credits.
7. Choose between 1 credit, 3 credits, or 5 credits.
8. Confirm your purchase with Buy Now and follow the instructions.

Note: Extra credit purchased in the Android App will be charged via the Google Play Store.

On the Audible website

• Go to the Audible site and sign in to your Audible account.
• Eligible members will see the option to purchase extra credits on the homepage.
• Select Buy now.
