The price for Audible Standard membership will change from AUD $8.99 to $9.99 per month for customers who have signed up for their subscription via the App Store and/or Google Play Store. Our goal is to continue to bring you the best in audio storytelling. This increase will allow us to continue expanding our immense catalogue of audiobooks, podcasts, and original content so that you get the very best value with Audible.

How do I know if my membership price is affected?

The price increase applies to the Audible Standard monthly membership subscribed via the Google Play Store and App Store. If your membership is affected, you will receive an email from us.

When will the price change go into effect?

For new customers, the price increase will go into effect from November 11th 2025. For existing members, the updated price will go into effect from December 8th 2025. Existing members should refer to price change notifications sent by Apple or Google, as some specific bill dates may vary. You can check your next bill date on your Store’s app settings. 

Do I need to do anything?

Most customers will not need to do anything - your bill will automatically increase on the date communicated by the App Store or Google Play Store. For some Android customers who reside outside of Australia, you may be required to 'opt in' to the new price in order to continue your membership. Just follow the instructions in the notification you receive from Google.

What if I'm currently in a free trial?

Your free trial period will be unaffected and you will continue to receive the discounted rate for the remainder of your trial period. If you signed up prior to October 9th 2025, we will honour the monthly price you initially signed up on for your first two full priced bills. Your first two months of paid membership after the end of your free trial will cost $8.99. From month 3 onwards you will be billed $9.99 per month. Please refer to price change notifications sent by Apple or Google, as specific bill dates may vary.

Are any alternative options available?

Yes - Standard membership is available at your current price of $8.99 per month through our website at audible.com.au. You can switch by cancelling your app store subscription and signing up directly through our website.
