Your Audible player is where you can control playback of any title you’re listening to in the app. You can get to your Player settings from the Settings gear icon in your Profile or your player menu.

Note: The player settings are available only in the Audible app for iOS and Android.

Where do I find my app player settings?

1. Open the player.
2. Select the More menu icon at the top of the screen.
3. Select Player settings.

You can adjust or turn on or off the following settings:

• Player customization
• Progress bar per chapter or for the whole title
• How many seconds you skip forward or back
• How you want to see time displayed in the mini player while listening
• Shake to extend for your timer
• Auto-lock for your screen
• Automatic Car Mode
• Sync listening position
• Continuous listening (affects automatic listening samples, podcast episodes, and the play queue)
